Frequently Asked Questions

 

 

  1. How can I order?

    • Orders placed before 17:00 will be delivered the next day between 16:00 and 20:00, at the approximate time of your choosing.

    • To order please call 06-55 35 64 67 (between 11:00 and 17:00) and one of our team members will take your order, name address and phone number.

    • Alternatively, you can send a Whatsapp with your order, name, address, and phone number.

    • We will send you a summary of your order by WhatsApp. To confirm send us a text back with your address, and we'll then send you a Tikkie.

    • After we receive your payment, we will prepare your order and deliver it at an agreed upon time the next day and “contactless” to your doorstep!

  2. Where do you deliver to?

    • We personally deliver to any address within Amsterdam the next day. Outside of Amsterdam, please contact us personally and we'll see what we can do! 

  3. Are the cocktails ready to drink?

    • No, unfortunately not. The law in the Netherlands does not allow home delivery of “Hard Liquor” (above 15% ABV) from bars. So, instead of delivering you a watered down ready to drink version, we prefer you get the real thing in a DIY package!

    • All our cocktails come as a DIY package. The package will contain all the ingredients you need to make the cocktail yourselves (including ice!!) and comes with a step by step guide on how to make them. For an additional surcharge we can deliver bartools and cocktail glasses, should you so desire. Please enquire as to pricing with your bartender when ordering!

  4. How many cocktails does one package contain?

    • This is up to you! All our cocktails come with the ingredients for 1 of each cocktail. Just order whatever you fancy off the menu, just like if you were actually in the bar.

  5. Is there a minimum order size?

    • Yes, the minimum order is 3 cocktails for 35 Euros. The more you order the cheaper the cocktails get!

  6. Are we allowed to tip our delivery guy or girl?

    • Of course! please do.. these are all bartenders who normally work at T&S and tips are a large part of their monthly income. However, as we are a contactless delivery service, please mention the tip amount when ordering, so we can add it onto your Tikkie.. our delivery team will not accept cash for safety purposes.

  7. Are there delivery fees?

    • No! All our prices are including delivery costs!

  8. Is it also possible to pick up?

    • Of course! Pickups are also possible between 15.00 and 18.00 if you prefer to see your friendly T&S staff from a safe distance!

  9. What if I want to buy full size bottles of spirits? ​​​

    • This is also possible. Stop by Atelier de T&S between 15.00 and 18.00 for your liquor needs! ​​

  10. Why am I getting a Tikkie from XO Trading Company and not Tales and Spirits?

    • XO Trading Company is l’Atelier de T&S. Legally, bars and restaurants (like Tales and Spirits) can’t deliver alcohol to private residences, but liquor stores (like XO Trading Company) can. We want to make sure you enjoy the same cocktail at home, as you would at T&S, but we don't want to break the law doing it.​

  11. Why do you only deliver until 20:00?

    • The safety of our staff is first and foremost… with the city on intelligent lockdown the weirdos come out at night and we want our team to be be safe on the roads!! As these are DIY packages, they stay good for as long as the fruits stay fresh! Just put the ice in your freezer and make your cocktail whenever you feel like it!
